Masterson’s Pub , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my most recent experience at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of old alcohol and filthy restrooms suffused the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and sour vomit . The main bar, which should be the focal point of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and litter that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. Many customers have reported spotting critters darting across the serving surface and evidence of rodent infestations in the adjoining rooms. For a business that caters to patrons, these issues are utterly disgraceful and raise serious concerns about the quality of the food and drinks .

During my time there, I became aware of how uneasy several female patrons seemed around Cornwell. As I dug deeper , I was horrified to find allegations against him involving predatory behavior , with multiple women alleging that he of harassing them digitally. Described as excessively forward and violating, his behavior has created an unwelcoming setting for women who frequent Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often resembled that of a predatory presence than a welcoming host .
